Your files stay on your device

When you open a GIF or video, or record your screen, the work happens inside your browser. Your files and recordings are not uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see or access them. When you close or refresh the page, your work is gone unless you have downloaded it.

Screen recording

The screen recorder only starts after you choose a screen, window or tab in your browser prompt. The recording is kept in your browser, and you can stop it at any time. We never receive the recording.
